Appearance
Pale skinned and with a chilling touch, Mynne is a haunting figure. Often content to stick to the shadows, she'll generally see you before you see her. Jagged scars in three parallel lines run across her face, clearly the result of the trauma endured to some great clawed beast. Her raven-dark hair is typically kept shorter and the edges end in a crimson hue, giving her quite an intimidating appearance.Her hair is naturally white, a hereditary quirk of her genetics in the 'X' tribe, but that snowy-white hair is now a distant memory to those who once knew her. A careful look at the catte might reveal old scars and a slight disproportion of parts of her body - a result of severe malnutrition in her youth. Still, she retains a confident swagger in her step that many find fascinating.

OutlookMynne is a skilled scout, spy, and assassin who utilizes everything from social engineering to her natural skill to get the job done. She is preternaturally quick and agile, and with a skilled ability with twinblades.
After the loss of her network in Ul'dah due to a betrayal, she decided to start anew in the purported 'New World' of Tural... seeking the famed 'City of Gold'. Few know what happened to her over there, but she returned a changed woman with scars aplenty. Far from the jovial happy-go-lucky goofball she used to be, she now presents as a no-nonsense woman with a hint of sorrow.

Mynne used to be a rather infamous figure in the underbelly of Ul'dah. Carving out a spot for herself on the streets, she quickly became a feared name when it came to the underground portion of the city. If you are familiar with Ul'dah's seedier side, you probably at least know of Mynne... and the rather large bounties placed on her head from the Monetarists.
Stay of Execution
Incredibly, Mynne is notorious for being one of the few folk in Ul'dah to survive a public execution. Caught after a betrayal and fast-tracked in a sham of a trial, Monetarist interests decreed she was to die via hanging. Thanks to the efforts of her closest friends, she was rescued from this fate. Perhaps you were a witness who saw the dramatic rescue or have heard the whispered tales of admiration from the commonfolk of Mynne's escape.
Lowbrow Entertainment
Mynne is often seen in various brothels, taverns, and other rowdy establishments like fight clubs. She enjoys blowing off steam at these places as well as socializing to either case her next mark or to help rebuild her network. Odds are if you don't approach the seemingly 'alone' catte, she'll approach you.
The Mysterium's Wraith
Those with an instinct for the unusual might note several strange things about Mynne's appearance. She rarely appears to take a breath, her touch is cool to the touch, and one might even catch a hint of a blue flickering light behind the eyepatch she keeps over her ruined eye.
Mynne's Gutterkids
Mynne's special little secret is her covert adoption of several street urchins in Ul'dah. Hoping to spare them the agony of what she endured as a child, she has sacrificed much to give these children a better life. You may have met one of them - Squeals - who has just come of adulthood this turn and talks nonstop of about the one he looks up to the most: Mynne.
Mysterium Scout
Mynne travels all over the place, acquiring information and other things for the Mysterium directors. Maybe you met her on one such trip, though she is careful not to let too much slip about her objectives. She does take an interest in unique people though... perhaps you are one of these?

I'm open to roleplaying with just about everyone - Veteran or novice RPer alike. I adore walkups and will do my best to reply. Feel free to whisper me if I don't reply, I may have missed your message in the chat scroll.I only have three real notes about my roleplay:Firstly - I am open to just about any sort of collaboration or introduction, including mature and dark themes... but please clear anything dramatic with me beforehand so I can prepare and make sure the idea is a good fit for both of us!Second - Please respect the IC/OOC boundaries. While I am open to the idea of character romance (and it is my favorite trope!), it is important to distinguish between IC and OOC. I am happily engaged IRL, and trying to push anything that happens between Mynne and your character into an IRL context is the swiftest way to ensure I never want to roleplay with you again.Third - I generally try to stay lore compliant in a public setting to avoid breaking anybody's immersion. FFXIV has a very rich lore, but I am also a firm believer in the 'rule of cool'. My stories might take some creative liberties in regards to various undefined aspects of the lore. The Legatum Mysteria typically has plots that touch on some of the vaguer bits of lore and interpret them. If you prefer only to deal in absolutes in lore, please note that prying into Mynne's backstory may not be the greatest fit for you. Otherwise, I absolutely love when others try to learn more about my characters and I will attempt to return the favor of your own character's history!
